Give

Six ways to keep land protected, in perpetuity.

ARC is a 501(c)(3) land trust. Member-supported, donor-built, accredited. Every gift turns into acres preserved, trails maintained, kids on field trips, and the kind of long-term certainty that a watershed actually needs.

  • Active campaign

El Dorado Ranch · Phase 5

100% of gifts to this campaign go directly to the El Dorado Ranch acquisition. $8.5 million secured of $14 million total. $5.5 million still needed to close the final 2,997 acres and create the first State Wildlife Area in El Dorado County.

  • Restricted fund

    Resilience Reserve

A restricted fund for restoration and stewardship — culvert repairs after landslides, boat-launch fixes after flooding, equipment, materials, and labor that grant cycles can't cover. The unplanned work that keeps protected land protected.

  • Investment annuity

    The ARC Fund

Donate stocks ($50+ in cash, check, or card also accepted). ARC holds the assets long-term and benefits from yearly dividends. Each December, up to 10% of the portfolio funds operations or reinvests. Founded with a 2021 gift from a donor whose strategy averaged 20%+ in long-term gains.

Why monthly giving works for the watershed

A reliable stream lets us plan further out.

One-time gifts power individual moments. Monthly giving lets us forecast and plan — for the next acquisition, the next stewardship season, the next year of field trips. A reliable revenue base is what turns a campaign into a permanent capability.
